When you connect to the Bebop's Wi-Fi network, the app connects to the quadcopter. Instead, you install a free mobile app called FreeFlight on your iPad, iPhone or Android phone or tablet. The skin protected the drone well in our tests, but is easily scuffed and discolored. The camera and other electronics are in front, covered by a foam skin.
